The Wedge programme

3 month programme

£140 per month or £420 one-off payment

Having spent time studying the art of wedge play I am really excited to launch my 3 month Wedge Programme to help golfers improve their wedge play into and around the green. On completion of the Wedge Programme you will: 

• understand and improve your individual wedge movements to achieve a predictable depth control and ground contact relative to the ball

• understand how to control shot distance

• understand how to control shot trajectory

• understand how to adapt set up and movements in order to see the desired shot outcome from varying lies around the green

• understand how and what to practice to continually improve your wedge game

The 3 month Wedge Programme is aimed at the golfer who wants to master their wedge play into and around the green. The programme consists of an initial 5 hole on-course assessment followed by 6 x 60 minute sessions. These session will be tailored to the golfer's individual needs, please see a programme outlined below:

 Assessment - five holes on-course - during the assessment I will take footage of you playing various wedge shots from varying lies into and around the green - the 5 hole assessment will be followed up an email outlining the areas highlighted, we will then discuss a plan for the future sessions based on what you would like to achieve from the Wedge Programme

 Month 1 - 2 hours

• assess movements, discuss and implement improvements to achieve a predictable baseline shot

Month 2 - 2 hours

• controlling distance - club selection and movement for the individual golfer to effectively control shot distance

• controlling trajectory - understand how to set up and execute them varying shot trajectories when required

Month 3 - 2 hours

• shot selection and strategy - understand how to adapt from varying lies and slopes faced in order to see the desired shot outcome

As part of the programme you will be invited to a Coach Now training space where all lesson notes will be posted. You will also have the opportunity to post video of your practice for me to give feedback on how your wedge play is progressing.
